Youth-Led Environmental Conservation for a Sustainable East Africa
SYECO (Sisei Youth Environmental Conservation Organisation) is a technology-driven environmental consultancy headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. Founded by passionate young environmentalists, we deliver NEMA-compliant Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Social Impact Assessments (SIA), environmental audits, and climate risk analyses across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.
We believe that accurate environmental data and inclusive public participation are the foundations of sustainable development. That's why we've built a digital platform that combines GIS sensitivity mapping, AWARE-methodology water scarcity footprinting, and multi-channel public participation (via WhatsApp and USSD) into a single, powerful toolkit for developers, government agencies, and international lenders.
Beyond our consultancy work, SYECO is deeply committed to environmental education through our Green Schools Initiative — a CSR programme that brings tree planting, waste management workshops, and water conservation education directly into schools across the region.
